Why We Built It
LingoVoice is our own venture. Code2Box is the engineering arm of Lingo Service Translations Ltd, a translation business that has handled live work for UK councils and NHS trusts since 2021, and we kept seeing the same gap: when two people need to understand each other right now, booking a human interpreter is too slow and too expensive for most conversations.
So we built the product we wished existed. A complete digital platform, not just a website: robust enough to handle real-time voice translation, and simple enough that anyone can start a session in seconds.
The hard problem was turning complex AI technology into an experience so intuitive that a first-time user is translating within 30 seconds, no downloads, no tutorials, no friction. We solved it because our own name is on the result.
